My current employeer uses Novell Groupwise 6.5.4 for email. How do migrate my mail to a new system?
Some mail will go to a new and yet unknown corporate system, some to Yahoo Mail. However, most emails are project management communications from completed projects that I need as an offline reference for new projects. My plan now is to create a GroupWise archive file and hope that other email software can read/import the file (emails and folders).
My current employeer uses Novell Groupwise 6.5.4 for email. How do migrate my mail to a new system?
It is better to print emails and put them in a 3-ring binder.
Due to legal issues, most companies do not want electronic trails stored forever.
Reply:Can't you simply keep your .pst files form your previous Outlook archives running on your system and have Groupwise running as well? Why worry aobut export import ect... I may suggest archiving your old email to an external storage device and backup to CD as well.

How can I set up my iTouch to receive Novell Groupwise email?
I've figured out how to set up other accounts on it but not this one, and it's the one I really need to get my mail on.
I've also followed all the rules for setting it to forward mail from Groupwise to another carrier but for some reason, it won't work. I though maybe if it won't work on iTouch than I just just have the message forwarded to AOL/Gmail which I *could* open on iTouch. I can't figure out why it won't forward though.
How can I set up my iTouch to receive Novell Groupwise email?
To use the online Mail Setup Assistant, go to:
http://www.apple.com/support/ipodtouch/m...
-----------------OR----------------
(NOVELL can provide the account settings you need to enter.)
From the Home screen choose Settings %26gt; Mail %26gt; Accounts %26gt; Add Account.
Choose your email account type: Other.
Enter your account information: click Other, select a server type—IMAP, POP, or Exchange—and enter your
account information:
** Your email address
** The email server type (IMAP, POP, or Exchange)
** The Internet host name for your incoming mail server (which may look like “mail.example.com”)
** The Internet host name for your outgoing mail server (which may look like “smtp.example.com”)
** Your user name and password for incoming and outgoing servers (you may not need to enter a user name and password for an outgoing server)
Hope this helps. Otherwise, contact me and I'll try my best!

How do i set up my itouch to recieve email from my groupwise account. I have an @albion.edu address.?
How far have you got?
Unlike iPhone, the iPod Touch cannot get internet access (and therefore email) through the cell phone network. It connects to the internet via wifi so you have to be close to a wifi router. Do you have a wifi router you can connect to? Once you can get to wifi you should be able to browse to your groupwise login page and get to your email that way.
One way to try this out is to find a coffee shop or similar place that advertises 'free wifi' and set it up there. Other wifi connections will typically required a key code to access them.

Default Email - How do I change the default email in IE to Novell Groupwise?
Is there a way to make my Groupwise email address the default email in IE 7? It does not give me this option under Tools/Internet Options/Programs. Thanks.
Default Email - How do I change the default email in IE to Novell Groupwise?
you cant sense that kind of email is not a wellknown kind and if so then you would have to go to the site and they would have to provide a link in order to do this but i dougt they do.
hope this answers your question
Reply:To get Novell Groupwise as your default email service, open up IE, click the tools menu, internet options, then click the Programs tab. There is a selection box for E-mail. Assuming you have Novell installed, you can select it from the drop down menu.

How do you delay the sending of a message (for a later date) in a Groupwise email?
In your mail, there is a a place called options. Click on this and it will have a place that will ask if you want to save and send later.
